Portasol is a gated rainforest and ocean-view community in the mountains above Portalón de Quepos, and all 180 of its original lots are sold. That is the whole story on this one: the only way in now is a resale, and Lot 24 is on the market directly from the owner.
The parcel runs 8,323 square metres, just over two acres. A long private driveway climbs to a cleared terrace ready to build on, framed by mountains with the Pacific glinting on the horizon. Community rules cap construction at 15 percent of any lot, so the forest around you stays forest, and across Portasol as a whole roughly 83 percent of the land is held in conservation, including a 173-acre biological reserve. You get two acres and the practical certainty that nobody clears the ridge next door.
Utilities are already run to the lot. A waterfall and the river are close enough to walk to. The land sits inside the Savegre Biosphere Reserve, which is why the wildlife here is loud at dawn.
Portasol sits almost exactly between Quepos and Dominical, about 20 minutes to either.

We are in Quepos and can meet you at the gate, drive you up, and walk the boundaries. If you are still deciding whether the Central Pacific is your spot, stay in one of our rentals nearby first and see the area properly.
