This is a private tour, just your group and a bilingual naturalist guide who identifies what you are hearing and points your binoculars at what you would otherwise walk past. Some 250 species have been recorded in this area, and birders here have logged up to 70 in a single day.
The walk itself covers gravel roads, cattle farms, and rainforest over three to four hours of easy-to-moderate terrain. Black-mandibled toucans, white-throated shrike-tanagers, and short-tailed hawks are among the residents, along with hummingbirds, trogons, jacamars, seedeaters, thrushes, doves, and birds of prey.
Because it is private and personalized, pricing is quoted per group rather than posted per person, and every booking is confirmed on request.
