The boat leaves from Marina Pez Vela in Quepos and works its way along the shore, past islands, cliffs, and rock formations you cannot reach any other way. A guide stays on deck to point out wildlife along the coast, and dolphins sometimes fall in behind the boat, so keep your camera where you can grab it.
The anchor drops at Biesanz Bay, a sheltered cove where you can snorkel over parrotfish, starfish, and angelfish, or stay dry onboard if that is more your speed. While you swim, the crew grills a barbecue lunch, served on deck with beverages and snacks included the whole trip.
