Great place to stay in La Fortuna! Danny was an excellent host. He gave great recommendations and made a reservation for dinner with n our first night
La Fortuna is a beautiful town. Home is located in a quiet neighborhood easily walkable to a nice bakery and supermarket. A few minutes more and you are right in the downtown with many options. There was another review saying it was not walkable. I wholeheartedly disagree; it is a flat lovely walk. The pool was wonderful. There were so many thoughtful touches when we arrived. We had a basket of local coffee and beer. We cooked and had every pan and utensil needed. I had no need to reach out with questions because every comfort was easily located. I would happily stay here again. We had a tour cancelled at the last minute. We requested one more night and Danny approved it within minutes. This relieved a lot of stress with our last-minute problem relative to the tour. We felt cozy with the beds, and living room sofa. If homey was the goal, mission accomplished! Indoors and out were set up to sit back qnd relax. Thank you for helping to make our trip so relaxing.
Danny’s place was perfect for our family. Location was great, home was clean, and we especially enjoyed having the pool! 10/10 would recommend as a great stay in la fortuna!
The house and pool were nice and easy to get to via car. There isn’t anything to walk to, so the house is reliant on having a vehicle.
The house was perfect for our family of 5. Danny was very friendly and responsive, he even came by to check on us when I asked about the refrigerator to make sure it was in good working condition, which it was, I just wanted it a little colder. Short distance from downtown La Fortuna. Probably not walkable distance, we rented a car and got around easily. He recommended great restaurants as well. We felt safe the entire stay in La Fortuna, and property was equipped with an alarm system and gated parking. We saw iguanas on the property and a sloth in a tree down the road! Thank you Danny!!
