Great stay for my family . It was very private but close to food and activities . We felt very safe . Outside bath room was amazing and the views were gorgeous . Love all the balconies and places to sit around the house to just take in the views . 10/10
This home is beautiful, and set along the forest edge in an open grazing area. The bird watching along the forest margin was great and the pool was really nice to cool off in. It’s very close to La fortuna, and a great little soda walking distance away. The owner, Danny, was very responsive, and had great recommendations for our family. They were able to organize everything at a reasonable price and coordinate pickup and drop off. Views of Arenal Volcano from the home were great, and there was a large vista of the Central Valley.
We had an amazing stay at Danny’s house. Pictures truly do not do this place justice. The house and property are so beautiful & tranquil, and the included amenities make you feel right at home. We had a great time swimming in the pool (super clean), and sitting on the upstairs patio in the swinging chairs watching the sunrise. The location is private, yet close to everything. We enjoyed walking to the mini super at the end of the road for ice cream, and the soda around the corner. There is also a great natural skincare place, and nature trail we discovered within walking distance! The only thing we were bummed about was that we didn’t book this house for longer. It was by far our favorite stay during our trip to Costa Rica! We would 💯 book here again!
Danny was a great host, and the home was beautiful and very well maintained. The location was fantastic. It is close to everything, but just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the main drag, tucked into a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. It was also really convenient being within walking distance of two small markets and a great Soda where we enjoyed some authentic local cuisine. The only small thing to note is that the upstairs and the stairs themselves are a bit creaky. If guests go to bed at different times, it can be a little tricky to move around quietly without possibly waking others. Aside from that, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Danny’s place.
We had a great time. The kids loved seeing the cows that are on the property and the pool was a great bonus. It’s very spacious and lots to do in the immediate area. We also had perfect views of the volcano. Someone came to fix the air within minutes of us arriving (we didn’t call anyone so we’re glad they proactive about fixing it) and brought snacks and drinks, which we all enjoyed. We had no issues our entire stay. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
