Eight bedrooms for up to 22 guests, high on the hill above Tamarindo Bay in Tamarindo Park, a gated community. The house was finished in 2025 and covers close to 14,000 square feet on several levels, joined by stairs and an elevator. The manager puts the beach at a 15-minute walk or a five-minute golf cart ride, and the restaurants and surf shops in town are about the same distance.
What sets it apart is the staff. A house mom comes Monday to Saturday: she makes breakfast every morning, keeps the house clean, and will put together guacamole, pico de gallo, cut fruit, or smoothies when you stock the ingredients. A team looks after the pool and the gardens on the same days. Before you arrive, the manager's concierge plans the week with you, from airport transfers and surf lessons to sunset sails and massages at the house, and on arrival someone meets you at the door and walks you through the place. A private chef for dinner is extra, usually $60 to $120 a person depending on the menu, and we can set that up for you.
Floor-to-ceiling glass opens the living room, the dining area with seats for 22, and the kitchen onto the infinity pool, which curves along the edge of the deck toward the treetops and the bay, with fire bowls at its corners. The roof is a second living room: a covered lounge, a hot tub, a long bar-height table, and an outdoor kitchen with a grill, all facing west over the water for the sunset. Inside there is a TV room with a foosball table, and a gym with a treadmill, an elliptical, and free weights beside a sauna and a cold plunge. Sonos speakers run through the house.

Six bedrooms have a king bed. A seventh, which the manager calls the apartment, has a king and a queen sofa bed, its own sitting room, a kitchenette, a washer and dryer, and a terrace. The eighth is a family room with two bunk beds, each a queen below and a twin above. One of the king rooms is on the ground floor and another has its own outside entrance. Every bedroom has a smart TV and a safe. There are eight full bathrooms and five half baths. The manager says the house sleeps 17 or more comfortably, and lists it for up to 22.
An elevator runs between the floors, and the manager points it out for guests who cannot take the stairs. One king bedroom is on the ground floor. There are steps between the terraces and down to the pool deck. The manager's listings call it a three-story house, while one photo caption says four, so if anyone in your group uses a wheelchair or a walker, ask us and we will check the elevator stops, the doorways, and the showers with the manager before you book.
From $2,650 a night. Rates move with the dates and the season, up to $6,800 a night at the busiest times, and Costa Rica's 13 percent tax is added on top. The minimum stay is three nights. Tell us your dates and group size and we come back with an exact total.
Our family of 17 spent a week at this amazing property and loved everything about it. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms for our group and exceptional common space throughout - especially the multiple outdoor living areas with couches, tables, pool, hot tub all overlooking the ocean and gorgeous sunsets. Josef was an excellent concierge assisting before and during the trip with excursions, dinner reservations, airport transfers, golf cart and grocery delivery. He was great! And our house moms who took such great care of us with an absolutely wonderful breakfast every morning, top notch cleaning - they were so nice and the entire house was immaculate. It’s a 10 minute walk to town but would definitely recommend a golf cart - made or much easier to get around quickly or if you’re dressed for dinner. Uber was also always available and we used it frequently for transportation at night to and from dinner/town. Made it easy and comfortable. I would highly recommend this property. One of the nicest homes I have rented. And [the manager's] team is top notch! You won’t be disappointed!
The center of it: restaurants, surf schools, nightlife, the beach at the end of every street.
