Infinity pool running toward the forest and mountains above Quepos (MA-94)
Gated community above Quepos

Three-bedroom jungle view villa with infinity pool

Three-bedroom jungle view villa with infinity pool

Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, for up to six guests, high on a mountainside in the same gated community above Quepos as MA-80 and MA-85. The house looks out over forest and a valley to the mountains, and the view is the reason to book it: guests say it is what they remember. Quepos, Marina Pez Vela, and the beaches and park of Manuel Antonio are 5 to 10 minutes away by car.

Inside is one long, bright room with a living area, a wooden dining table, and a kitchen with stainless appliances, and big sliding doors open the whole side onto a covered terrace with outdoor sofas and a second dining table. The three bedrooms (one king, two queens) are large, with air conditioning, desks, and bathrooms with double sinks and walk-in showers, one with a window to the mountains. There are smart TVs, fiber wifi, and a washer and dryer.

Past the terrace is the pool, an infinity edge that seems to run straight into the treetops, with sun chairs along the deck. Guests write about macaws, parrots, and iguanas from the terrace, howler monkeys in the distance, and the short, steep hike to the community's waterfall. Of the 84 guest reviews on the manager's page, 82 give it five stars and two give it four.

Access and pool safety

The road up the hill to the house is very steep, and the manager recommends a four-wheel drive. Guests with a 4x4 say it is fine after the first trip; one managed on rented scooters, and taxis come up around the clock. Keys are collected at the community office, about a kilometer downhill, so set your map to the office for arrival. The house and pool are built out over the slope on steel piers, and the pool has no shallow end: the manager asks that children be watched at all times and does not recommend it for non-swimmers. If anyone in your group has limited mobility, ask us and we will confirm the details with the manager before you book.

What guests say

What a beautiful home! The inside was great. Decorated nicely and the kitchen had everything that we needed. But it was the back patio that did it for us. Beautiful infinity pool overlooking the jungle. We saw macaws, parrots, caracara’s, iguanas, and could hear the howler monkeys in the distance. Peaceful, beautiful and my family loved it.

We had a brilliant stay at [the house] - the view over the rainforest is amazing throughout and the layout is excellent, with shaded outdoor seating and the pool also getting some shade later in the day. Kitchen was very well kitted out making self catering very easy. All communication and tips for supermarkets and parking super helpful. We’d recommend!

This house was a great location and absolutely stunning. The views from the pool are nothing short of amazing. The concierge service was incredible and very responsive. You will not be disappointed with this house!

The place had an amazing view and had all the essentials you can possibly think making it feel like your own home. I really enjoyed my time here. However, it is very high so my recommendation bring a big car to go up the hill. The host was super attentive and responsive to every question i had.

Loved it! You won’t regret staying here. Amazing views of the Costarican mountains. Very spacious house Very comfortable beds, I had a great sleep To get there it’s quite a steep drive, but come on that part of being in Costa Rica, me personally I love it.
