It is the same community as MA-79. The manager puts Quepos five minutes away by car and Manuel Antonio National Park and the beaches about fifteen.
The owners remodeled the house after buying it in 2022, with stone walls, hand-carved hardwood furniture, and walk-in showers. The open living and dining room sits under a high ceiling with a timber screen along the stairs, and the kitchen has granite counters, a dishwasher, and stainless appliances. The bedrooms have a king, a queen, and a full bed, each with air conditioning and its own bathroom; the living areas run on ceiling fans. The house is on two floors, with stairs between them.
Behind the house is a private lap pool on a stone terrace with lounge sofas, a dining table, a gas grill, and a wood-fired brick oven. Guests write about squirrel monkeys passing through, iguanas by the pool, toucans and butterflies, and a kitchen stocked down to beach towels. The community runs night jungle walks, a chocolate tour, and a butterfly garden, and has hiking trails. Of the 65 guest reviews on the manager's page, 64 give it five stars and one gives it four.

The road into the community is rough, with some steep hills, and guests suggest a car with good clearance; others have used Uber and taxis without trouble. The house is on two floors joined by stairs, and the manager does not say which bedrooms are on which floor. If anyone in your group has limited mobility, ask us and we will confirm the details with the manager before you book.
Rates for this house are quoted on request. They move with the dates and the season, Costa Rica's 13 percent tax and a service fee are added on top, and the minimum stay is three nights most of the year, five over Christmas and New Year. This place was beautiful and our hosts were great to communicate with! We regret not staying for more days! The location is private and so peaceful with the sounds of wildlife. They have a beautiful, fully stocked kitchen and an outdoor area for grilling. Every room was beautifully decorated and clean. We would definitely come back!
It was a beautiful secluded place to stay. We could hear the birds every morning while we had our coffee. On our final morning there we were able to watch a troop of monkeys in the backyard. The pool was a great place to relax in at night and the outdoor space was great. Perfect for our family!
Beautiful place! The drive in is a little rough but we didn't mind. Simple check-in. Theres AC only in the rooms but some fans in the main areas. Very private with jungle right next to you. Provided everything you needed to cook in the kitchen. Housekeeping was available for us which we used once! Backyard and pool were amazing! Theres a resident lizard by the pool shower we said hi to every morning! Host is very responsive and helpful with recommendations. House was super close to main Quepos for groceries, restaurants and Manuel Antonio National Park. Would definitely come back if I do come with a group again!
I have never seen a property this well stocked! Dishes, pots, pans, beach towels, tents, grill tools, etc. House is located in the forest with lots of wildlife. 15 minute drive or less to town and Manuel Antonio area.
We absolutely loved our stay here!! The location was perfect -close enough to Manuel Antonio that the drive into the area was easy (and Quepos was still a wonderful city) but removed enough it felt like we had our own quiet area of jungle. It was very well stocked, a perfect size for our family of four and beds were still pretty comfortable. We also had a resident iguana our kids named Stitch who would be there when we woke up and hang out with us all day until she left in the evening. On top of that we were saw a group of squirrel monkeys passing through while in the pool one day! The villa was extremely clean and the pool amazing. I cannot say enough good things about this villa. We had a couple of hiccups but this management company was AMAZING with very prompt replies. The only caution I would give is the road getting up to the villa is a little rough and there are some steep hills so just make sure you have a suitable car!
The town end: Marina Pez Vela, the supermarket, and the Friday market close by, the park a short drive down the road.
