Pool deck loungers under umbrellas looking over the jungle to the Pacific (MAE-06)
Manuel Antonio, walk to restaurants

Six-bedroom ocean view villa with infinity pool

Ocean views from every level, and dinner a walk away

MAE-06 rises over the rainforest in a residential part of Manuel Antonio, and it is one of the few big houses here where you can walk to restaurants, cafes, and shops. The national park and the beaches are minutes away. The whole house is air conditioned.

On the main level, floor-to-ceiling glass walls slide open to the pool terrace, and the kitchen, dining table, and lounge all face the ocean and the national park coast. Outside, the infinity-edge pool sits among loungers, umbrellas, and shaded seating, with an outdoor dining set beside it. Scarlet macaws fly past, toucans sit in the nearby trees, and white-faced monkeys come through the canopy.

The top floor is a suite that works as its own apartment: a kitchen, a dining area, a sitting room, a bedroom, and a bathroom, wrapped in glass with doors that open toward the Pacific. It suits a couple who want their own space, or a parent who needs somewhere quiet to work.

All six bedrooms have their own bathrooms, and two have their own outside entrances. Beds, as the managers list them: the primary suite has a king; one bedroom has a king and a queen; two have a king that splits into two singles; one has a queen; and one has a queen and a single. One of the twin bedrooms opens onto a covered terrace with an outdoor kitchen and dining table. Bedrooms you do not book stay closed, so the house is never shared with another group.
